The latest version of the FieldBook AgriApps comes with a great functionality for users, namely grape ripening monitoring.

This provides information to the farm manager, the technical director, but especially the winemaker, on the degree of maturity. The laboratory results after analyzing the grape samples, will be able to be monitored, so that you decide what the harvesting strategy is.

The date of the harvest is determined according to the area of cultivation, variety, planting location and climatic conditions of the harvest year, by following the evolution of the grape ripening process (ripening dynamics).

In this sense, periodic analyzes are performed on the following quality parameters:

  • Average weight of grape
  • Sugar content (g / L)
  • Acidity (g / L H2SO4)
  • ph

These criteria are measured daily and depending on certain intervals for each criterion of interest, the plots are colored in a certain color, signaling to the winemaker the approximation of the optimal time for the grape harvest, taking into account the desired results.
